Another bum prediction

OK, it wasn’t made this year, and thus doesn’t count as a faulty 2009 prediction. However, 4 weeks ago I said Meryl Streep deserved the Golden Globe for best actress in a comedy or musical. Instead, on Sunday night it went to someone named Sally Hawkins, who’s more than 25 years younger.

I believe I wrote my last movie review in 1981. Obviously I should stay retired, as (at best) I’m rusty and out of touch with today’s culture or (at worst) I have no aptitude for the post.
